APET is Hiring a Handyman Near Dundee, IL
Well established and growing company is looking for a Handyman for its facility in East Dundee, IL. The ideal candidate has the ability to problem solve and perform odd jobs. As a handyman, you are responsible for the upkeep and repairs of Apet’s facilities.
We are looking for someone to work Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4pm.
Responsibilities:
- Completes preventative and basic maintenance tasks on equipment, including, but not limited to water pumps, filters, heaters and aquatic life support equipment
- Monitor the building exterior and interior for maintenance needs and handling repairs
- Effectively and safely operates standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools and basic electrical testing equipment
- Responsible for painting and general carpentry.
- Ability to work unsupervised at the direction of Facility Manager
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Compassion for our animals, customers, and employees
- Plumbing and electrical experience a plus
- 1-2 years of related experience
