Well established and growing company is looking for Delivery Drivers for its facility in East Dundee, IL. Home every day and weekends!
The ideal candidate will have previous driving experience and be able to work Sunday - Friday the hours vary, includes day, evening and overnight shifts. Must be flexible.
Receive a $200 sign-on bonus after 90 days!
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for picking up and delivering product and materials from vendors and customers in a timely and safe manner
· Follow proper invoice policy and procedure
· Communicate effectively with the Dispatch Manager informing and updating the status of deliveries and condition of product
· Drive vehicles to and from destinations, adhering to all DOT and traffic laws
· Load and unload delivery goods
· Comply with OSHA safety requirements
· Insure that all environmental units are in good working conditions
· Ability to interact professionally with our customers
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
· Compassion for our animals, customers, and employees
· Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 1-3 years of related experience
· Candidates must possess an acceptable motor vehicle record.
· Class C Driver's License Required
Physical Demands:
· Employee is frequently and regularly required to lift and carry up to 50 - 70 pounds (often in cramped conditions), stoops, kneel or bend. The ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time is required and work in the confinement of a vehicle and step in and out of a truck.
· Employee is required to safely and effectively operate a motor vehicle.
· Employee must be able to move animals for shipping or to be received at Apet, including pushing, pulling, bending, kneeing, and twisting.
· In performing duties, employee is regularly required to use hands to grasp; and to reach with hands and arms, at or above shoulder level.
· Ability to work in a moderately noisy environment.
