As the ADR Claims Secretary, your key responsibilities will include:
·Communicating with clients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to help resolve claim issues and discrepancies.
·Maintaining detailed records of documentation requests, appeals and payments
·Following up on medical records review status, communicating and documenting updates
·Assisting with data entry, filing, and other general office duties to support the ADR and Appeals department.
·Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
·Minimum of [1] years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the skilled nursing sector.
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
·Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
·Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
·Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
·Experience with claims processing software and Point Click Care is a plus
·Understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information.
·Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, pay attention to detail, and maintain a positive attitude.
·Understanding of the Revenue Cycle, including admission, billing, payments, and denials (preferred).
