Job Summary: The objective of the Plating Entry Level Trainee is to learn how to perform different operations according to their respective process procedures.

The Plating Entry Level Trainee is responsible for learning to start up, operates, and shut down Plating Department equipment as well as to learn how to perform routine maintenance.

Job Responsibilities:

§ Learning how to turn on tank heaters and bring the fluid levels up

§ Learning how to handle acids and caustics

§ Learning how to read/fill out Process Travelers, logs and charts

§ Learning to inspect his/her own work

Performing tasks as directed by the Plate Lead and/or Supervisor

Requirements

§ Must be able to read prints

§ Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

§ Must understand basic math

§ Must be able to follow documented procedures

§ Experience in the PCB industry is a plus!
