Job Summary:

The objective of the Mechanical Entry Level Trainee is to learn how to perform different operations according to their respective process procedures.

The Mechanical Entry Level Trainee is responsible for learning to start up, operates, and shut down Mechanical Department equipment as well as to learn how to perform routine maintenance. These include but are not limited to changing drill and router bits, setting up production stations, laying up new panels as required, checking and loading the mechanical CNC programs, setting up different tooling, etc., operating a few different machines, and filling out all logs required, and required housekeeping and general maintenance.

Job Responsibilities:

· Lift 40-50 pounds regularly for 8 hours

· Must be able to stand for extended periods

· Read and understand written procedures

· Follow instructions as required by supervisor or lead

· Follow production schedule

· Pass all audits and Certification requirements

· Learning how to read/fill out Process Travelers, logs and charts

· Learning to inspect his/her own work

· Performing tasks as directed by the Mechanical Lead and/or Supervisor

Requirements

Qualifications:

· Must be able to read prints

· Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

· Must understand basic math

· Must be able to follow documented procedures

· Experience in the PCB industry is a MUST!
