Apartment Management Professionals, LLC (AMP Residential) is seeking to hire a Risk Manager to join our team!

The Risk Manager is responsible for conducting risk assessments, collecting, and analyzing documentation, statistics, reports, and market trends. Reviewing and approving resident/prospect Reasonable Accommodation/Modification requests, reviewing incident reports and communicating the goals, policies, and procedures of the company. Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Establishes policies and procedures to identify and address risks in the organization’s services and departments.
  • Drafts and presents risk reports and proposals to executive leadership and senior staff.
  • Manages all risk factors, such as the possibility of system failure or data loss.
  • Reports claims to the insurance policies of the company.
  • Raises risk awareness, provides education and training to employees inside the organization.
  • Reviews and handles all insurance claims regarding the company.

Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications


  • 1 year of leadership experience in property management, retail, hospitality, or related field required.
  • A goal-oriented individual.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that set you apart from the competition.
  • Ability to interact with employees and customers in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work will within a team setting.
  • Ability to create relationships and partnerships with businesses and employers in the market.
  • Customer focused mindset with strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Property Management Software system(s). Entrata preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Valid Driver's License with Valid Auto Insurance.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Successfully pass drug screening and criminal background check.
  • Computer proficiency and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
