Apache Corporation is Hiring a Sr. Reservoir Engineering Analyst Near Houston, TX
Specific ResponsibilitiesApache is seeking an experienced and energetic Senior Reservoir Analyst to join our team. This person will report through the Reservoir Engineering Function and provide support to the Asset Teams. Position duties will include but are not limited to:
Provide and manage data from internal and external applications and software including IHS Enerdeq, Enverus (DrillingInfo), PDS Energy, and WellView
Provide quality control and assurance for well, technical, and economic data
Design and maintain evaluation tools to facilitate data analysis using Spotfire, MS Access and Excel
Maintain engineering databases
Maintain and enhance SQL Server databases, data collation and manipulation, and defining data workflows
Identify and implement process improvements related to existing and new technical workflows
Provide user support for technical applications and software including Aries, Harmony, Spotfire, Access and Excel
Coordinate with other departments as necessary to acquire information or report data or activities
Provide support as needed for new reserve bookings
Qualifications & ExperienceThe successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
BS degree from an accredited college or university
5 Yrs Reservoir Engineering Technician/Analyst experience with E&P Company
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with multi-disciplinary team
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and consistently meet project deadlines
Must be detail oriented
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Desire to learn new technology and systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to effectively communicate project workflows or analyses to team
Proficient in using database and engineering software, including Aries, WellView, Harmony, Spotfire, MS Access and Excel; Mosaic experience a plus.
Proficient knowledge of SQL query language; Python a plus.
