The Front of House Shift Lead at Antique Taco Bridgeport (1000 W. 35th Street) is the go-to team member of the FOH team for both AM and PM shifts. A lead must demonstrate strong leadership and problem solving acumen. They are someone with energy and are looking to grow within the company. Eligible candidates must have a commitment to excellence and don't shy away from physical work. They must be able to effectively communicate and be the bridge between the customers, the FOH, and the BOH.

A Shift Lead must:

• Create a clear expectation for all the team members at Antique Taco

• Have a flexible schedule (including weekend availability) Tuesday - Sunday

• Have food sanitation certificate and BASSET (or complete within 30 days of hire)

• Lead the team by example in maintaining a high standard across all duties

• Work closely with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service

• Set the tone for warm hospitality with both customers and other team members alike

• Demonstrate a sense of ownership in solving problems directly or communicating them effectively to upper management

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Maintaining a clean, neat, and organized work station

• Inventory management

• Cash handling and reports

• Assist management in tracking and controlling costs and labor

• Set up the dining room, bar, patio (lights, stereo, fans, thermostat, checking voicemails) and close down the restaurant.

• Supervise daily shift operations including running preshifts

• Ensure order accuracy

• Ensure that opening / closing tasks are done to standard
