School Social Worker
AnthroMed Education is a provider of School Social Work and Special Education services across the state of Michigan. We are committed to providing our School Social Workers with a supportive and rewarding school year and beyond. AnthroMed Education is seeking dedicated a School Social Worker who wants to make an impact supporting a caseload of gen ed middle school students. This would be a full-time position for the 2022-2023 school year at a school located in Clinton, MI.

AnthroMed Offers Year-Round Salaries, 30-35 days of Paid Time Off, and Holidays throughout Each School Year. All school holidays are paid breaks for full-time AnthroMed staff. Paid Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring Break each school year!
We also offer a health insurance plan through Blue Cross Blue Shield where the cost is fully covered by AnthroMed.
Responsibilities
- Providing support to the general population of students
- Working with students who are socially at-risk
- providing emotional support strategies to students
- Educating parents on intervention strategies
- Connecting students and families with community mental health organizations
- Establishing relationships with both students and parents and participating in all aspects of school planning
Requirements
- master’s degree in social work
- a valid social work license issued in the state of Michigan
- Knowledge of special education processes and procedures
- Candidates with experience working with at-risk students – preferred
