We are looking for an Elementary School Social Worker who enjoys working with all populations of students, including general and special education. This is a full-time position and there will be 1 week of professional development before the first day of school on August 15^th. With a caseload of around 40 students, AnthroMed will be with you every step of the way; providing support and resources to best meet your students’ needs.

Job Responsibilities of the School Social Worker include:

• Provide intervention and casework support (whole group, small group, 1:1) to high elementary students (grades K-5)
• Services for students in general education and special education
• Collaboration with problem-solving teams, internal staff, and community to best meet student needs
• Conduct screenings and evaluations
• Assess students with concerns
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure student safety and success
• Advocate for the wellbeing of students (social/emotional/academic)
• Develop and maintain interventions to increase student success
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications of the Social Worker:

• Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work
• LMSW license eligible in the State of Illinois
• Preferred experience in a K-12 setting
