Anthro-Tech is Hiring a Remote Organizational Change Manager

Position Description

Anthro-Tech is looking for an Organizational Change Manager to work with our team of designers, researchers, accessibility specialists, and content strategists while leading clients through human-centered transformation efforts. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in human-centered design strategy, strategic communications, and organizational change management practices. They will have a passion for coaching others, building organizational capacity in human-centered design, and leaving an impactful legacy.

Key Accountabilities

  • Serve clients and contribute to human-centered design projects as a consultant and project lead
  • Create and implement change management and communications plans for client projects by understanding and guiding stakeholders, building a coalition of champions, setting up templates, and establishing governance for changes
  • Help teams align on a project vision and goals to get things done
  • Lead transformational teams and work with project managers, subject-matter experts, program leads, and key sponsors
  • Design and facilitate workshops, and provide coaching and training to client teams
  • Oversee the standardization of exemplary organizational change management processes, services, best practices, and deliverables
  • Build resources and practices to support quality assurance for organizational change management services and deliverables
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging best practices to sharpen our toolkit and shape the future of how Anthro-Tech provides organizational change management
  • Identify and develop client services in collaboration with the Director of Business Development
  • 70% billable target supporting clients

Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of experience in strategic communications and organizational change management
  • A Master’s degree in Communications, Human-Centered Design, a related discipline, OR compelling work experiences
  • A strong record of thought leadership and advanced skills in human-centered design and organizational change management
  • Experience leading and overseeing the strategic direction on human-centered design projects
  • Proven track record to craft and translate a project vision into executable strategies and tactics, building and guiding clients through roadmaps
  • Strong presentation, writing, and story-telling skills
  • Ability to build close partnerships with clients to help navigate tough challenges and ambiguity
  • Experience interviewing, analyzing and synthesizing stakeholder perspectives
  • Sensitivity to interpersonal dynamics and an ability to influence without authority
  • Experience building systems, processes, and artifacts that support organizational change management practice quality and efficiency
  • Practiced in applying change management models (such as Kotter’s) to large-scale projects
  • Experience working with government or non-profits preferred

  • Medical insurance - Anthro-Tech pays for 90% of employee premiums and funds an initial contribution to your health savings account
  • Dental insurance - Anthro-Tech pays 100% of premium
  • Vision insurance - Anthro-Tech pays 100% of premium
  • Long Term Disability, AD/D, Life Insurance - Anthro-Tech pays 100% of premiums
  • Retirement - Our 401(k) Safe Harbor plan has no required match - we automatically make a 3% of compensation company contribution to your self-directed brokerage account. A discretionary profit-sharing component also exists.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) - you'll accrue PTO for each hour you work. Full-time team members accrue approximately 15 PTO days per year
  • Paid Holidays - Anthro-Tech offers 9 paid holidays each calendar year which includes one floater holiday of your choice
  • Supplemental Pay for Parental Leave – 8 weeks of supplemental pay for parental leave is available for Washington State employees
  • Training & professional development budget - We'll work with you on a training & professional development plan each year. We're currently covering up to $2,500 in approved expenses for workshops, conferences, tuition, travel, books or other activities as well as up to 3-days paid time to attend

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and responsibility. The range of starting pay for this role of Organizational Change Manager is $53.00 - $65.00 per hour Benefits.
