Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

· Use professional judgment to respond to callers, which may include suggestions or advice, a phone call to the physician, or a home or facility visit.

· Provide skilled nursing, intervention, and supportive care to patients and their families in accordance with the patient’s plan of care during the assigned call period.

· Handle crisis situations in a professional and appropriate manner.

Education:

· One year experience as a professional nurse in the past three years or a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing

· Experience in acute care/ home health and/or hospice setting preferred but, will train the appropriate candidate.

Experience:

· Home Care, 1 year (Preferred)

· Acute Care, 1 year (Preferred)

· Hospice, 1 year (Preferred)

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

· Registered Nurse (RN)

· Current California Driver’s License and automobile insurance that meets the State of California requirements, if driving a car.
