Accounting Assistant
Description/Job Summary
Accounting Assistant consists of, but not limited to, being responsible for financial statements for the organization. Maintain capital budget, process work orders, maintain fixed asset system and produce reports, compile data and generate expense statements. Must be able to multitask.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Reconcile and review various general ledger and other internal accounts as needed.
- Assist with the preparation of various regulatory reports including the quarterly Call Report.
- Prepare monthly Arkansas State Bank Department Self-Exam.
- Complete monthly board reports.
- Complete monthly asset liability management reports.
- Assist with correspondent bank analysis and tracking.
- Aide in the development and implementation of annual budget.
- Act as liaison for external auditors and examiners.
- Support in managing IntraFi relationship and related settlements.
- Complete various daily/weekly entries.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years accounting experience.
- Previous banking experience.
