Ansay Associates is Hiring a Personal Lines Trainer Near Port Washington, WI

The Personal Lines Trainer will be responsible for training Personal Lines team members on best practices related to obtaining,
maintaining, expanding, and servicing of Personal Lines Accounts. As well as providing guidance to Personal Lines teams in
terms of coverage and workflows. This role includes the training and active participation of integrating offices and joining
through acquisition on the EPIC system. This individual will work closely with the Training and Integration Manager in the onboarding of new hires, acquired employees and ongoing education within the agency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support all new acquisitions with integration into Ansay and EPIC system and associated training of new Personal Lines team members
  • In conjunction with training department leadership, train new Assistant Account Managers, Account Managers and Account Executives on essential duties and responsibilities, and guide them through the onboarding process while serving as a key point of contact
  • Stay contemporary on all system(s) updates and capabilities – and be able to assist in training and rolling out to both current and new staff while supporting utilization of technologies and best-practices
  • Lead PL Training series, presentations, webinars, and lunch/learns for the PL Agency line of business that support departmental goals, priorities, and objectives
  • Reports to training manager, works with training team to improve and standardize training across the agency. Carries out training, benchmarking and auditing. Uses collaborative onboarding tools for accountability in training progress. Reports on training process. 
  • Provide prompt, accurate, courteous service to customers, producers and company personnel
  • Educate clients on their insurance coverages, needs and identify potential gaps in coverages
  • Maintain book of business of new personal lines accounts which meet agency standards, round out lines of business on current accounts, and cross-sell opportunities from other departments when applicable
  • Work to ensure retention on accounts through best in class service
  • Service personal lines accounts in a manner to eliminate gaps in coverage, thus reducing our E&O exposures, and use service experience to identify training and workflow improvement needs
  • Continue professional development (i.e., keep current with industry and carrier changes, continuous training, pursue professional designations, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS PROVIDE MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB. 

  • Higher education (from an accredited university) in Business or related field
  • Thorough understanding of personal lines insurance and products
  • Licensed per state requirements
  • Have one insurance designation (i.e. CISR, CIC, CRM) – or be willing to obtain
  • Self-starter with strong initiative, customer experience-focused, and continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building abilities with good written and verbal communication skills
  • Detailed oriented and solid listening skills
  • Team Player with a Can Do Attitude
