Receives and reviews incoming referrals.Provides coordination of referrals by and between AAMC social services, physician's offices, community groups, and all AnMed Home Care Services departments.Furnishes appropriate information regarding patient care, insurance coverage, demographics, etc.Evaluates medical status and diagnosis information for qualification of services under Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED with at least three years medical office experience with billing and insurance verification required. Associate Degree or business certificate and at least one year home care experience preferred. Strong abilities in computers.Ability to learn several different computer systems and utilize those systems to input information and generate work orders and reports via the computer. Communication skills with a customer service satisfaction focus.
