ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES of Anita Home Health LVN

We're currently hiring Licensed Vocational Nurses to provide 1 on 1 direct care.

(LVN may perform the following skilled interventions and tasks)

Monitor vital signs, Medication preparation, oral suctioning, G-tube feeding and medication administration, Performing breathing treatments, Bowel Care, Maintaining hygiene, Patient transfers maintaining proper body mechanics, Pressure reduction, techniques to prevent skin breakdown, monitor for skin breakdown, All activities of daily living as the patient may be completely dependent for all of their ADLs.

This Case location: The City of Alhambra

Need is ASAP, Care may be administered from the clients residence or assisted living facility.

All clinicians are expected to participate Full-Time/Part Time, This Job pays per shift and is non Live-In. There are currently 420 Hours are available each month to be used at this time.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• IV Certification is a plus (not required).
• Current and active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
• Minimum one year experience required. Experience working in an acute care.
• Current CPR certification.
• Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills.
• Basic working knowledge and skill of computers (email) required.
• Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, have initiative, dependability and good judgment.
• Must be able to cope with family, emotional stress and be tolerant of individual lifestyles without judgment.
• Reliable transportation.

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull 40 lbs.
• Ability to stoop, bend, and squat.
• Ability to walk up one flight of stairs.
• Ability to sit for one hour, maximum.
• Visual and audio acuity.

CREDENTIALS REQUIRED

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S
• Professional License (LVN)
• State Driver's License
• CPR / BLS card
• Car Insurance
• Physical Examination (Within 1 Year)
• TB Test / Chest X-Ray (if positive TB) (Within 4 years)
