Country Oaks Animal Hospital is currently looking for an veterinary technician assistant to join our staff in providing compassionate, exceptional medical care and customer service.
We’re a tight-knit, family-oriented practice that prioritizes a healthy work-life balance and positive, nurturing culture. We’d describe a typical day in the life of a Country Oaks assistant here, but, the truth is, there are no typical days for the members of our team. We treat dogs and cats, as well as exotic pets and small mammals.
That means that, in the morning, you might be taking the temperature of a diabetic kitty and, in the afternoon, you could be called upon to assist in weighing a bearded dragon or testing a turtle for intestinal parasites. The sheer variety of the work we do sharpens our skills and challenges us to be innovative, creative, and holistic in our approach to veterinary care. Pets aren’t numbers. They’re precious, irreplaceable members of the family, and we treat each one as if it were our own.
