What is the position?
Our receptionist position is an important role here at AADC, one that involves some very important skill sets! We adore our clients and patients, and the receptionist role is responsible for building, maintaining, and growing relationships with our clients and referring veterinary partners, over the phone and in person. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, appreciates maintaining a comfortable flow of conversation, makes clients feel at ease, efficiently schedules appointments, effectively relays messages to doctors and technicians, and streamlines the flow of communication within our clinic. Adaptability, attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to set healthy boundaries are important in this role. This role is primarily clerical and involves answering busy phone lines, scheduling appointments, checking clients in, handling client financials, documenting conversations, accurately relaying information, maintaining emails, working with clients in person and over the phone, scanning documents, general cleaning duties, and working closely with others in a team-oriented, collaborative atmosphere.

Dr. Jackie Campbell first opened our practice in 2010 and we are excited to be celebrating our 14th year as a privately owned specialty practice! We strive to improve the quality of life for pets and bring comfort to pet parents by utilizing our expertise in veterinary dermatology and providing exceptional follow-up care to pet parents and their family veterinarians. We are the only Veterinary Allergy and Dermatology practice in Southern Colorado and are proud to be part of the Veterinary Specialty Center (VSC), Southern Colorado’s premier referral hospital encompassing the specialty practices of internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, allergy and dermatology, orthopedic surgery, and 24-hour emergency services in a warm and welcoming environment.
