Responsibilities:
- Duties include some clerical work such as answering calls, scheduling and checking in patients, faxing, e-mailing, scanning, and uploading charts.
- Clinical Work includes checking in patients, performing checks on vitals, administering vaccines, and doing EKGs.
- Big plus if you are good with computers as well.
- Administrative Duties:
- Scheduling
- Insurance verification
- Answering phones
- Clinical Duties:
- Performing injections
- Performing EKGs
- Administering medications
Experience:
- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
- medical assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
- medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) (Preferred)
Days of work are:
- Mon/Wed/Friday = 10am to 6:30pm
- Tues/Thursday = 11am to 6:30pm
Benefits
- After 90 days, we give 1 week of Paid vacation.
- After 1 Year of employment, we give 2 weeks of Paid Vacation per calendar year.
