Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in homebuilding within a fast-paced office environment required.
• Strong PC computer skills required, with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook), Adobe Pro and internet-based programs such as Internet Explorer and Google Chrome.
• Detail-oriented, and well organized with ability to prioritize.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with office staff, field personnel, vendors, and sub-contractors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with speed, precision, and accuracy.
• Excellent organization, time management, and follow-up skills; high sense of urgency; ability to successfully handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience with ECI Solutions software is a plus.

Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Initiate Preliminary Purchase Orders for all home starts in your assigned area that are designated on the Anglia Homes Pipeline with an emphasis on accurate Purchase Orders that will include all Change Orders prior to publication of start.
• Be familiar with all pertinent budgets, costs, standard features, and available selections that may be offered in your assigned communities/subdivisions.
• Assist your Managerial Team to resolve contract changes/issues with pricing, change order requests.
• Work with the Purchasing Director/Manager to determine the base home cost and option costs before total sales prices being finalized.
• Assist with the facilitation of budget revisions for all plan changes (frame walks, specification changes, field redline changes, added options, etc.).
• Reviews start packages prior to distributing to field to validate accuracy.
• Address daily issues concerning house files, vendor issues and/or material/trade purchase orders.
• Assist team members as needed to ensure projects stay on track and on time.

• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around the work environment as needed.

Travel: Domestic travel, primarily local, may be required to support some business activities.

Working conditions: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

Physical requirements: The ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around the work environment including construction sites.
