BOOT RENTAL TECHNICIAN

Angel Fire Resort is looking for an enthusiastic Rental Boot Fit Technician who shares our passion for excellence. The Rental Boot Fit Technician will have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing the proper boot fit for each customer and exemplifying excellent customer service.

Base Pay: $15

Location: Angel Fire Resort Rental Shop

Employee Type: Hourly, non-exempt

Job Category: Seasonal - full-time, part-time or holiday only

Leadership Responsibilities: No

Required Certs or Licenses: No

Attendance: Regular, predictable, punctual, and in-person attendance is essential, including weekends and holidays as scheduled

Estimated start date: Early December

Minimum Age: 18

Typical Shift: 8am-5pm but night shift schedules may be available as well

Environment: This is an indoor position. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and regularly lift/carry 50lbs.

Qualifications: Previous customer service experience

Housing: Limited employee housing is available upon request. “Dorm-style” starts at only $450/month. Other options available. A list of local rental resources is also available upon request.

Essential Duties:

Responds to guests in a courteous and efficient manner.
Answers questions concerning cost of items, features of items, resort activities, hours of operation, weather conditions, etc.
Ensures that guests accurately complete the waiver of liability and rental forms.
Selects proper boot rentals for guests based on their needs.
Finds the proper boot fit for each customer to create positive slope experiences.
Assigns rental boots to customers.
Checks in returned rental equipment and inspects for damage.
Cleans names off rentals and returns to appropriate rack.
Track, stores, and maintains the organization of tools, parts, and inventory.
Works with power tool
Maintains cleanliness of the shop and proper storage of all equipment.
Repairs and maintains rental fleet
Assists with customer questions and concerns.
Appropriately handles complaints and resolves grievances to ensure guest satisfaction.
Assists customers with electronic storage lockers when necessary.
Assists Manager in special projects and facility maintenance.
Other associated tasks & duties as assigned
