Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and educational activities
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
- Promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and communicate with parents or guardians regularly
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience
- Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management techniques
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, progress, and development
Skills:
- Strong understanding of child welfare and development principles
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively educate and engage young children
- Proficiency in math concepts relevant to preschool education
- Knowledge of special education strategies for children with diverse needs
- Experience in childcare or related field is preferred
- Effective behavior management skills to create a positive learning environment
- Curriculum development skills to create engaging lesson plans
- Understanding of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Ability to plan and organize daily activities for preschool-aged children
