We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a full time In-Patient Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) position 7am - 7pm shift. Provides direct patient care to maintain highest levels of comfort and quality of life. Responsible for physical care of the patient under the direction of the Physician and Registered Nurse. Duties / Responsibilities: Provide care for patients and families according to an individualized plan of care and in accordance with agency policies and regulations that define scope of practice Participate in shift assessments, administration of medications, and bedside care Assist patient/family in learning appropriate care techniques Report symptoms and changes in condition to the registered nurse, and physician Maintain accurate, up-to-date and timely documentation of nursing care provided to all patients Responsible for timely completion of paperwork required to meet State and Federal regulations. Documentation should be accurate and detailed to meet these regulations

Qualifications: Licensed LVN in the State of Texas - required 1 years' experience as an LVN - preferred Experience with Hospice or Home Health - preferred Effective written and verbal communication
