As an Occupational Therapist at Anew Healthcare and Rehabilitation, you will have the opportunity to work Full time providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to residents in our skilled nursing facility. You will assess residents' functional abilities, develop personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance residents' independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functioning.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapy to residents, focusing on activities of daily living and functional mobility.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate occupational therapy into overall resident care plans.
• Monitor and document residents' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Educate and involve family members in the therapeutic process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in occupational therapy.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
