We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house dynamic therapy team. Along with this opportunity the PTA will be a design partner in the development of a new EMR.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Anew Healthcare and Rehabilitation, you will work alongside experienced Physical Therapists to help patients regain their mobility and improve their overall well-being. Your role will involve implementing therapeutic exercises, providing hands-on assistance during treatment sessions, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists in assessing patients' physical conditions and developing appropriate treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and activities as prescribed by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide hands-on support to patients during treatment sessions.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and therapy techniques to improve the patient’s independence and quality of life.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred but not required.
