Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Food Service Worker to join our team. As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, serving customers, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Duties:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing salads, and assembling sandwiches
- Serve food to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions accurately
- Set up and break down banquet events, ensuring tables are properly set with linens, silverware, and glassware
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent cross-contamination
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling purposes
