Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking a Banquet Set Up Team Member to join the team at our Orlando location!

• Starting at $17.50 per hour!

1. Organize and prepare event spaces for various functions, including setting up portable bars, buffets, stages, podiums, and audio equipment.
2. Maintain the cleanliness and condition of banquet facilities, including cleaning, vacuuming, and shampooing carpets as needed.
3. Restock portable bars and ensure they are clean and presentable throughout events.
4. Set up and tear down tables, chairs, stages, and audio equipment according to event requirements.
5. Refresh meeting spaces and guest rooms, ensuring they are set up appropriately for functions.
6. Provide excellent customer service by listening to guests' needs and fulfilling their requests during banquet events.
7. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times, adhering to high standards of customer service.
8. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth execution of events and address any issues that may arise.
9. Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of guests and staff during events.

1. Previous experience in event set-up and hospitality preferred.
2. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
6. Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
7. Knowledge of audio-visual equipment and basic troubleshooting skills preferred.
8. Professional demeanor and appearance.
9. Willingness to uphold company policies and standards.
10. High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training or certification is a plus.

• Walk or stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
• Perform functions which require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing, and stocking up to 50lbs.
• The ability to communicate quickly and accurately.
• The work environment may include bright, dim, or flashing lights and loud sounds.
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
