Anderson Nissan is looking for a Finance Manager to join our team. The Finance Manager is responsible for assisting customers with getting their vehicles financed through loan companies. This role also serves as an auditor, ensuring that all mandatory documents are signed and in the deal to be processed. This is an important job that directly contributes to the success of business operations.

Required Education/Skills/Abilities

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • 1 to 3 years of auto industry experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to meet company’s production and quality standards.

Description

Summary/Objective

The Finance & Insurance Manager is responsible for contracting all new business, securing financing, and obtaining any down payment required. It is the F&I Manager’s responsibility to ensure that all transactions go smoothly, with the highest levels of customer satisfaction, resulting in customers returning for many years to come.

Essential Functions

  • Be polite and friendly and greet customers promptly.
  • Deal with customer concerns and complaints in a sensible manner by showing empathy and a pleasant attitude to show our commitment to excellent customer service and to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct telephone transactions courteously and quickly.
  • Accuracy and completion of all transactions.
  • All deals are completed, billed and sent to the accounting office for processing, within 7 days.
  • Verify residuals, rates, advances, and all other pertinent information before contracting any customer.
  • All deals are submitted for approval the same day the customer signs the contract.
  • Attend to all customers in a timely manner.
  • Verify payoff prior to typing deal.
  • Assure all rebate forms are signed by the customer and program number is included.
  • Verify VIN matches on all documents.
  • Collect down payments at the time of contract.
  • All deals are documented on the scorecard.
  • Verify every customer (OFAC) to prevent identity theft.
  • Performs all duties in a safe manner, immediately reporting any accidents, injuries or unsafe conditions to management.
  • Shows when scheduled to work, on time, ready and able to perform essential job functions.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and practices.
  • Perform other tasks as directed.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are set by the needs of the dealership.

Note: Schedules are subject to change. Two-weeks’ notice of a schedule change will be provided whenever possible.

Travel: No travel is required.
