Our client, a leading independent advisory investment bank in the sustainable energy, technology, and infrastructure markets, is seeking an experienced Associate or Vice President to join their tax credit advisory group. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to advance their career while making a significant impact in the global energy transition that are incentivized by tax credits.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the origination and execution of tax credit advisory mandates across wind, solar, energy storage, carbon capture, and green hydrogen sectors
• Supporting investment banking mandates by providing expertise in financial modeling and structuring of tax credit monetization strategies
• Building sector expertise and pursuing business development initiatives to enhance the firm's competitive position

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience structuring, modeling, and/or executing tax equity financing or tax credit transfer transactions in the renewable energy sector
• Strong financial modeling skills, including proficiency in modeling U.S. partnership tax concepts and advanced Microsoft Excel
• Keen interest in the energy transition, including renewable power generation, energy storage, power and utilities, carbon capture, and energy infrastructure sectors
