As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and implement an overall project execution plan, ensuring adherence to strict schedules and budget constraints.
    • Oversee all phases of construction projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring proper hand off to the client.
    • Aggressively work towards "Beating the Schedule" along with maintaining the quality of the project.
    • Work closely with Assistant Project Managers and ensure that subordinates are provided with training and knowledge to succeed.
  • Budget and Cost Management:
    • Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial performance, making adjustments as needed to ensure profitability.
    • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure work is properly scoped out and correctly priced. 
    • Ensure all contracts are issued and signed before the commencement of work
    • Approve all invoices for the work completed during the billing period
    • Oversee the client billing via AIA forms 
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify potential risks and challenges, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
    • Be in constant communication with the preconstruction department and estimating department to identify all risks.
    • Ensure all required compliance is adhered to and all inspections are completed timely.
    • Maintain a healthy and positive relationship with Field Superintendents and all Subcontractors. 
    • Act as a liaison between office and field and keep the communication open
  • Client Relations:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, job status reporting, and addressing any concerns.
    • Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and exemplary project delivery.
    • Represent Anchor Construction professionally in all dealings with all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management(Preferred), or related field.
  • A minimum 5 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Project Manager with a track record of successfully completed projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations(OSHA).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Highly Proficient in MS Office Suite, Estimating and Take-Off Software (Planswift/Bluebeam), Procore, MS Project, and other technologies.
  • Willing to work in a highly dynamic work environment and able to multi-task between multiple projects.
