Anchor Endodontics is in search of a Dental Patient Care Coordinator who exhibits quality service, commitment, accountability, and excellence. Our specialty practice is built on integrity, quality, compassion, and putting the patient first.
The Patient Care Coordinator will be the first point of contact for the practice. This role provides administrative support to the practice and coordinates front-desk activities, including but not limited to distributing correspondence and answering phone calls. The position requires someone with the right attitude, mindset, and supreme customer service skills to ensure patient comfort and confidence in the services provided.

Schedule: Tuesday - Friday

This position is in a dental practice setting that involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions.

The ESSENTIAL DUTIES of the Dental Patient Care Coordinator include:

  • Providing friendly and patient centered customer service
  • Checking in/checking out patients
  • Answering and making phone calls
  • Verifying patients' dental insurance
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Maintaining full and productive schedules – optimizing production
  • Reviewing insurance coverage and out-of-pocket fees with patients
  • Assisting patients with filling out forms and other services they may need
  • Processing patient insurance
  • Collecting payments
  • Managing patient records
  • Entering appropriate data and documents into practice management software system
  • Copying and sending patient's records upon written patient request
  • Interaction with referring practices
  • Preparing patient and doctor correspondence
  • Managing business records
  • Following accounting/bookkeeping procedures
  • Collaboration with the clinical team - assisting doctors and clinical staff as needed
  • Participating in meetings and training sessions
  • Ensuring front desk is neat, presentable, and equipped with all the necessary supplies such as pens, forms, and paper.
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Dental Front Office Experience: 1 years preferred
  • Software skills - Microsoft Office, Outlook, Email, dental software (Endovision a plus)
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Problem-solving skills; good judgment; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • Highly developed organizational and planning skills
