Job Title: Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry (Nursing)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg / Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical and telemetry units, monitoring vital signs and administering medications as needed. We are looking for a team player who can collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in the MedSurg / Telemetry unit.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings, and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient care.
