TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST

LOCATION: Bensalem, PA

WHAT YOU’LL DOWe are looking for a full-time Technical Support SpecialistDo you have the knowledge and experience to provide IT support to end-users? Do you enjoy promptly identifying and resolving issues proactively? The Technical Support Specialist will help support in the successful delivery and escalation of incidents onsite for our client. You will be involved in the installation, configuration, repair, and maintenance of the client's infrastructure, as well as interacting with vendor support on a regular basis to identify and resolve issues..

  • Complete assigned tickets and follow up with clients until resolved for the following:
    • Passwords and MFA tokens
    • Peripheral device support including network printers, scanners, monitors & UPS devices
    • Applications including Office, QuickBooks, EMR, etc.
    • Hardware including Switches, Access Points, and sometimes Phones (Depending on site assignment)
  • Maintenance & Administration:
    • Complete move/add/changes of client workstations including adding printers, applications, roles, and more
    • Onboard and offboard client employees
    • Train and guide clients in proper software and hardware usage
  • Train and guide clients in software and hardware usage
  • Onboard and offboard client employees
  • Complete move/add/changes of client workstations, including adding printers, configuring software
  • Proactive Support:
    • Document changes to client environments, in accordance with change management policies
  • Complete tasks as designated by site administrator

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We need people who don’t mind working in a flexible manner based on the needs of the business and who will provide solid customer service and clear communication to our clients. We encourage you to apply if you can easily adapt to a rapidly changing environment, shift priorities, and meet tight deadlines. This position will require the following qualifications:

  • High School diploma or College degree in a technical field
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience in a computer support role
  • Solid customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Technical understanding in the following:
    • Windows Desktop (Versions 7/10)
    • DNS functionality (desktop)
    • Active Directory Moves/Adds/Changes
