Summary

Anaconda is seeking a talented Sr. Contracts Attorney to join our rapidly-growing company. As our Sr. Contracts Attorney you will play a crucial role in facilitating business transactions and ensuring that contractual agreements are clear, enforceable, and protect the interests of Anaconda. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your experience and skills and apply it to the world of data science and machine learning. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Advise on best practices and compliance with global privacy and data protection laws, as well as overseeing legal and regulatory aspects of data collection and use, privacy disclosures and transparency, and related issues. 
  • Advise on potential liability and other legal aspects related to data privacy and data security incidents and supporting the company's privacy and cybersecurity incident response programs, including supporting the investigation of potential incidents, identifying applicable legal obligations, and supporting incident response efforts. 
  • Collaborate with various departments, including legal, finance, sales, and operations to ensure alignment of contract terms with organizations goals 
  • Review and approve a variety of complex contractual documents, including agreements, amendments, addendums under supervision of senior management 
  • Negotiate complex contracts with customers, vendors, and partners
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance 
  • Manage contract disputes and resolutions 

What you need:

  • 3 years of relevant law firm or in-house experience as a Contracts Administrator or Attorney
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask, remain flexible, proactive and resourceful and perform at a high level in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with negotiating MSA’s or similar technology contracts with large enterprise customers 
  • Contract management and compliance within SaaS industry, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and standards for contracting (e.g. FAR, GDPR, relevant Data Privacy regulations). 
  • Reviewing and negotiating contracts including vendor agreements, service contracts, licensing agreements, etc. 
  • Extremely detail oriented with a keen eye for detail and risk mitigation. 
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and sales departments to address contractual and compliance issues effectively. 
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex legal documents and identifying potential risks and liabilities. 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver compliance training programs to educate employees on relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Familiarity with contract management software and tools to streamline processes and enhance contract program efficiency.
