Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Remote - Contract (By course)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ideal candidate will translate, revamp and/ or write content and help develop courses for new undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral initiatives. The position requires you to be agile, creative, and engaging while designing curricula.
• Subject Matter Experts (SME) work with members of the course design team to develop the components for the course and is contracted for specific tasks.
• Must have comprehensive content knowledge in specific subject area, including familiarity with current theories, practical applications, and industry standards.
• Ability to complete thorough and accurate work and manage time effectively to meet project timelines and produce high-quality results.

Content areas needed:

Spanish to English

• COMM 140 – Comunicación Efectiva
• COMM 250 – Periodismo Digital
• EDUC 902 – Métodos Estadísticos en la Educación

English to Spanish

• COMM 212 - Development and Management of Media Enterprises
• HIDE 200 – History of Design 1800 - Today
• EDUC 904 – Quantitative Research Methods

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Earned Doctoral Degree in area of specialization, candidates who are ABD are encouraged to apply.

Eighteen academic credits on area of expertise (required).
