Join our team as an Insurance Assistant to an underwriting team in Morehead City! None of our positions involve any cold calling or commission. This position is full time, permanent, with an annual compensation of $57,500 and potential for a hybrid schedule once training is complete.

Each Insurance Assistant provides vital team functions:

• New and renewal account information gathering
• Preparation of quotes, cover notes, binders, certificates, policies and tax filings
• Checks and verifies for accuracy all completed documents
• Participate in travel and networking events with retailers and underwriters such as lunches, dinners, golf events, charity events, etc
• Requesting and keeping track of missing information from outside sources
• Assistance in accounting procedures such as invoicing
• Receive and respond to calls/requests from underwriters and retail producers concerning problems, delays, discrepancies, etc. and provide resolution so that all parties are satisfied
