Job Designation

• The shipping and receiving Specialist will be responsible for the daily processing of all outbound units as well as processing receipts for all incoming materials and units coming in for repair. Verifies and maintains records on routine incoming and outgoing shipments. Ships and receives merchandise or material and arranges the transportation of goods, while following policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Other responsibilities as assigned will also need to be processed or completed. The FAA Shipping & Receiving Specialist reports to the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor.

Job Core Responsibilities

• Processing Shipments using FedEx and UPS shipping procedures
• Processing Receipts of incoming material and units for repair
• Work closely with team leads to make sure Visual is correct and up to date.
• Works closely with Compliance on incoming materials and Air Waybill approvals and tracking.
• Contributes to the development of processes and procedures
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
• Identifies, controls and documents non-conforming materials per established quality procedures.
• Ensures the proper tagging and identification of all parts and components per established quality procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $18.00 per hour
