POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting information systems to meet the business needs of the organization and scale as the company grows. In addition, the position is responsible for analyzing data to help develop best practices for the Payroll team to implement. Furthermore, this role will identify opportunities within the payroll software to test alternative solutions and ensure optimal efficiency within the payroll process. This position will be the primary contact for all parties involved during center conversions into the company’s HCM platform.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Recommends or participates in the development of new procedures and policies related to payroll operations; updates affected procedure documents
• Researches, analyzes, and resolves difficult or advanced technical problems or questions raised by Payroll Specialists and customers
• Works closely with the Manager of Payroll Services in resolving issues found in company configuration setup
• Project manager for the transition of a center or a group of centers into the company’s HCM platform
• Works with the HR and Finance team during center conversions, including attending training sessions and converting current data from payroll provider into the new system
• Update 401k match database tables and address SQL errors
• Responsible for timely Benefit file imports into the system
• Ensuring accurate input of employee data into HCM for Surgery Center and Corporate employees
• Establishes tax accounts for new centers
• Reviews all requirements and setup configurations for any new Earning and Deduction codes in the system
• Assist with tax reconciliations and updating company/employee setups if necessary
• Backup to Payroll Analyst in resolving monthly bank reconciliation items
• Other special projects as assigned.

Education/Experience:
Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university with a minimum of three (3) years payroll processing experience is required. Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local wage and hour and ERISA laws is required. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

Excellent PC skills including word processing, spreadsheet, UKG Pro (Ultimate Software) experience are required.
