Job Title: Registered Nurse Director of Telemetry

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Director of Telemetry to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, clinical expertise in telemetry nursing, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As the Director of Telemetry, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the telemetry unit, ensuring optimal patient outcomes, staff development, and adherence to established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Administration:
  • Provide visionary leadership to the telemetry department, establishing goals, objectives, and strategic plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare leaders to ensure seamless integration of telemetry services within the overall healthcare system.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Clinical Oversight:
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in the telemetry unit.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of telemetry services, making continuous improvements as needed.
  • Staff Development:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor telemetry nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to promote individual and team growth.
  • Facilitate ongoing education and training programs to ensure staff proficiency in telemetry nursing practices.
  • Quality Improvement:
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Analyze data related to patient outcomes, staff performance, and other relevant metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with quality improvement teams to develop and implement initiatives to enhance overall performance.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies and participate in audits to maintain and enhance compliance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
