Apple Leisure Group is looking for an extraordinary Channel Manager, Paid Search (SEM) to help promote new user growth through our paid search channel. As a leader on the digital marketing team, you'll lead strategy and will be responsible for overseeing paid search for all our consumer brands. We are looking for a candidate who is excited to grow one of our largest direct response channels. You will have experience managing large paid search campaigns hands on, as well as managing agency partners and/or internal staff. You will represent the digital marketing team as an expert, responsible for creating strategy and building successful campaigns.

**This position is required to be located in or near the Dallas/ Fort Worth area as this person will be working two-days per week in office/ three-days remote**

A successful Channel Manager - Paid Search will:

  • Lead paid search strategy, manage agency partners and/or internal staff.
  • Direct manage and execute over $20M paid search annual budget to achieve target ROI, and customer acquisition goals
  • Manage paid search for all (5) B2C brands
  • Manage daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, reports, and dashboards
  • Implement and optimize performance tactics across multiple acquisition campaigns
  • Direct current paid search technology to ensure they are working and integrated properly with overall technology stack
  • Test new technology partners to drive incremental bookings and revenue
  • Develop strategic roadmap to ensure both short-term and long-term success of the program
  • Develop and maintain ongoing testing roadmap to ensure optimal performance of the channel
  • Work with internal team members to execute on coop agreements
  • Develop and manage web analytics dashboards and key reporting tools, pointing out key areas of importance/opportunity

A successful Channel Manager - Paid Search will have:

  • BA/BS degree is required
  • 5 years of experience working in a cutting-edge environment, either at a top performing digital agency or in a large e-commerce business managing over $50M annual budgets
  • Experience growing new brands fast
  • Experience managing external agencies and/or internal teams
  • Experience managing more than 5 brands
  • Strategic thinker to see how paid search channel fits within overall objectives
  • Hands-on experience in bid management tools (SA 360)
  • Knowledge of other Google Marketing Cloud (Display & Video 360 and Campaign Manager 360)
  • Track record handling high campaign volume, annual budgets, complex strategies and driving quantifiable results
  • Strong experience analyzing data (Google Analytics, Excel, channels, databases, and internal tools) and communicating findings
  • A firm grasp of Analytics, A/B Testing, and metrics driven (performance) marketing
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable presenting to peers and executive leadership
  • Ability to travel as needed (15-25% of time)

Additional Required Experience: 

  • BI platforms (Google Data Studio, Power BI)
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Search Ads 360 or other paid search management platforms
  • Google Analytics
