Responsibilities

This position is responsible for organizing and supervising the installation of integrated residential and commercial technology systems. Additionally, this role combines technical expertise with exceptional craftsmanship to deliver reliable, easy-to-use systems on time and on budget for the company’s clients.

  • Take charge of on-site activities throughout all stages of installing and configuring integrated residential technology systems. 
  • Under the guidance of the Project Manager, diligently complete daily and weekly assignments, while maintaining open communication regarding project needs, change requests, issues, and status updates. 
  • Establish and nurture positive and professional relationships with clients, site supervisors, project partners, and other trades, showcasing the company’s commitment to superior service. 
  • Kickstart service delivery by studying system requirements, gathering components and parts, completing installations, and conducting acceptance tests. 
  • Uphold strong rapport with customers by addressing complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods, and recommending system enhancements. 
  • Document service and installation activities meticulously by completing logs and reports, maintaining confidentiality to bolster customer confidence. 
  • Provide customer support and service during field visits or dispatches. 
  • Follow all company-filled procedures and protocols to guarantee consistency and adherence to quality standards. 
  • Build and reinforce positive relationships with customers, understanding their requirements and offering appropriate recommendations. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience in the residential electronic systems and customer integration industry.
  • Deep understanding of signal flows and control systems, particularly in the context of distributed audio, video, and home theater systems. Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems effectively. 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and user manuals. 
  • Possess the capability to visualize the sequence of work and translate it into a tangible, measurable plan and schedule. 
  • Ability to work under pressure, assess multiple demands, and manage priorities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and/or via email, phone, or text to varied audiences. 
  • Knowledge of construction techniques and wiring methods for new and existing construction. 
  • Proficient with hand and power tools used to complete physical installations of speakers, displays, equipment racks, and ventilation systems. 
  • Candidates should own basic hand/power tools. Industry specific tools will be provided. 
  • Able to wire/terminate low voltage and Cat ⅚ cables. 
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must pass a drug screen.
  • Flexibility to travel or work overtime as necessary.

Physical Demands

  • Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 80 lbs.
