Responsibilities:
- Oversee the parts department and manage all aspects of parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, and organizing parts
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and ensure proper stock levels are maintained
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure that necessary parts are available for repairs and maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their parts inquiries and orders
- Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for data entry and tracking of parts inventory
- Manage the order management system to process parts orders efficiently
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in parts management or a similar role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and procurement processes
- Mechanical knowledge or experience in automotive repair is highly desirable
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively manage inventory and meet deadlines
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry and inventory management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers, vendors, and internal teams
