We Are Growing Again and so must our Marine Industry Parts department!
Hiring for the following:
Inventory Procurement Specialist
*Help manage inventory and supply chain for our Marine Industry based regional company with 5 locations.
*Shipping and Receiving (Tracking and Coordinating)
*Procurement and Vendor relations: Nurture positive relationships with suppliers and provide customer service as needed.
*Ensure the correct amount of items are in stock and in order
*Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
* Review operations schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfillment for current and future Installations and/or services.
* Check in and out all parts and tools daily with technicians and ensure returned tools and parts are in the proper condition.
* Submit purchase orders, process orders for shipment.
* Consistently search for the best Pricing for parts and tools that fit our particular company profile; gauging need and availability with price. Developing and implementing improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs.
SKILLS:
* Excel or spreadsheet experience is a must
* Inventory/Parts stocking Experience is a plus
* Heavy lifting may be required
* Parts ordering in fast paced work environment
* Ability to work alone in office separated from the rest of the facility
* Must be personable when dealing with clients and vendors, even in fast paced environments.
* A background in the marine industry is a bonus
PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 43 per week
