Amotec is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to contribute to our clients dynamic team. Our client, a leading medical device manufacturer is dedicated to pioneering advancements in healthcare and is committed to producing innovative solutions that enhance patient care worldwide.

The EHS Specialist is responsible for Health, Safety, and Environmental programs in the R&D and Quality Laboratories. Our client offers a competitive salary, bonus, and benefits.

EHS Responsibilities :

• Developing EHS programs including Chemical Hygiene, Bloodborn Pathogens, and Emergency Action Plans.
• Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental programs in accordance with industry regulations in a Laboratory setting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Create and deliver training programs to educate employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and environmental compliance in
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to health, safety, and environmental initiatives

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Chemistry, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) role, preferably within a regulated industry such as aerospace, medical device, or pharmaceutical.
• Must be a US citizen or hold a green card.
