Amneal is Hiring a Material Planner Near Piscataway, NJ
Job Summary
To support all manufacturing at both NJ facilities, with no down time due to material issues.
Essential Functions
- Reviews, daily, all packaging components for upcoming packaging plan, issues workorders 3-4 days in advance of said packaging date
- Order all raw materials based on forecast, and plan all materials and supplies
- Coordinates with the warehouse, QA and QC to be sure all components are received, sampled and released in conjunction with the packaging plan.
- Automate current manual MRP spreadsheet
- Orders all packaging components based on forecast on monthly basis.
- Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.
- Liaising with operations, manufacturing, and purchasing.
- Managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
Additional Responsibilities
- Reviews, weekly the re-order reports, to ensure all inventory levels for such items as caps, corrugate and desiccants are sufficient against our forecast and the packaging plan.
- Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns.
- Must be able to do V-look ups, pivot tables and formulas in Excel
