Job Summary

The Inventory technician will assist with ambulatory pump maintenance, pump testing, and labeling of pump and IV pole supplies. The incumbent should have an active Pharmacy Technician license and will report to the Pharmacy Operations Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect pumps and maintenance certificates.
• Add pumps to inventory.
• Maintain adequate inventory and appropriate storage of pumps.
• Label pump and IV pole supplies.
• Perform pump testing.
• Review, notate in the patient profile, and communicate with PCCs when pump maintenance is due.
• Call patients to follow up on pump pickups that have not been returned to the Pharmacy.
• Inspect returned pumps for damage or missing parts.
•  Process Return Goods Authorization (RGA).
• Package pumps for return.
• Clean IV poles.
• Assists in ordering and receiving medication and supplies.
•  Assist with medication inventory.
• Adds medication lot numbers and quantity to inventory.
• Reports damaged pumps, inventory issues, and missing pump loan signatures to the Pharmacy OperationsManager.
• Reports pumps not returned after three attempts to Pharmacy Operations Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications 

• Customer service skills.
• Well organized with and strong attention to detail.
• Multitasker with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.

Education/Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Clear and active CA Pharmacy Technician License

Schedule Details

• In-Person (Orange, Ca.) 
• Monday-Friday 9:30am-6:00pm
