POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary function will be to assist Lead Tech with service and installation of high-end communication, cable infrastructures and enhance jobsite productivity. Help build out technology systems which encompass voice, data, and video over copper, fiber optics and wireless cabling.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to work off ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces.
  • Provide physical labor to install voice, data, and video cabling.
  • Read, understand, and follow the company policies and procedures.
  • Able to work with basic hand tools i.e., screwdriver, electric drill, etc.
  • Perform site clean-up.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have physical stamina sufficient to perform construction type work such as: lifting and carrying approximately 100 pounds, bending, stooping, pulling, climbing in and around construction equipment, up and down ladders and in and out of ditches.
  • Follow direction, written or verbal, from supervisors.
  • Basic math
  • Ability to work long hours.
  • Be safety conscious and abide by company safety policies.
  • Must attend all scheduled work-related training.
  • Oral and written skills and ability to communicate with other workers, craftsmen, and other trades.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel out of town during the week and/or weekends.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to pass drug test anytime as requested by employer.
  • Workers must be punctual and reliable.
  • May need to travel out of town when required.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Must have a desire to learn and grow in a career.
  • Will be required to have certain tools to perform job.
