Americo Manufacturing is looking for a material handler for 1st shift at our Acworth location. Must be available to work OT if needed and some Saturday's.

This position will perform general shipping duties including but not limited to the following:

• Perform general shipping duties including driving a forklift, operating a pallet jack, loading trucks, labeling orders and confirming order quantities.
• Some trucks require hand loading.
• Other duties as required including helping in other departments as needed.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
