As a Systems Administrator you will:

A week in the life of a Systems Administrator:

• Apply your expertise to managing a cloud-based, multi-server system that will support up to one million users.
• You will be part of a small team responsible for maintaining system health and security to fulfill our High Availability Service Level Agreements.
• Will work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• This position is eligible for telecommuting.

• Active Secret Clearance is required and ability to meet DHS clearance requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 5 years Information Technology experience required
• 1 year AtHoc cloud environment experience required
• 1 year experience with the BlackBerry AtHoc Networked Crisis Communication Suite
• The following skills are also desired:
• Understanding of Microsoft Windows Group Policy, Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Remote Desktop Gateway Services, Internet Information Services (IIS).
• Experience with monitoring solutions such SolarWinds, WhatsUp Gold, or Nagios.
• Familiarity with application and server virtualization.
• Network architecture knowledge of HTTPS and TCP/IP.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary/hourly range for this position is $108,000 - $120,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
