 As a Senior Networks Deployment Engineer, you will:

• Participate in processes throughout all phases of the ITIL Service Lifecycle, including submitting Change Requests
• Provide Tier 3 IT network engineering and monitoring on SolarWinds and Cisco Prime Infrastructures

A week in the life of a Senior Networks Deployment Engineer: 

• Configuring, installing, and troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, VOIP systems, video teleconferencing, and other network components at remote customer sites. 
• Troubleshooting Windows client issues, printers, zero clients, virtual servers, and desktop scanners. 
• Conducting detailed site surveys to gather customer requirements. 
• Performing testing and activation of new network circuits. 
• Installing, loading, and troubleshooting KG-175 TACLANES. 
• Effectively communicating with clients, keeping them informed of all aspects of the installation throughout the deployment process. 
• Creating and maintaining Visio network diagrams. 
• Effectively troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during deployments. 
• Providing system-wide engineering support for network conflicts, troubleshooting, and resolution. 
• Other duties as assigned.

• Active Top Secret
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience 
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification required (e.g., Security CE, CCNA-Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, CND, OR SSCP)
• DoD 8570 Computing Environment certification within 6 months of hire.
• Cisco or Microsoft certification.
• CCNA certification required within 6 months of hire. 
• Experience with TACLANES.
• Networking experience and routing protocols
• Willing to travel within the U.S. up to 75% and infrequent 5-10% OCONUS travel.
• Candidates with TS clearance will be considered, but preference will be given to those with active TS/SCI clearances.
• Must be open to random CI polygraph.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary/hourly range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
